Microorganisms are a living, breathing part of soil. When water interacts with soil or other organic compounds, it can create a ‘rotten egg’ like smell through producing hydrogen sulfide. Worth noting – hydrogen sulfide is toxic, flammable, and can speed up corrosion.

Odour removal using this product is very effective, and a medium-sized facility (Water Treatment Plant, Meat Rendering) might use as little as 100 kg per day.
